Abstract: Assessment, Treatment and Prevention of Peri-implant Diseases

Dr Ronan Allen completed a Master’s programme in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at the University of North Carolina. He currently operates a Private Practice limited to Periodontology and Implant Dentistry in Dublin, Ireland. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Past President of the Irish Society of Periodontology and also a member of the Irish Dental Association and American Academy of Periodontology.

Dr Allen is committed to continuing education; he is a part-time clinical lecturer at the Dublin Dental School and presents lectures and hands-on courses on both Periodontal and Implant therapy. His areas of interest are in soft tissue augmentation at teeth and implant sites and using digital technology to enhance outcomes in implant dentistry.
