Welcome to ISDH 2022

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It is a great pleasure to invite you to the International Symposium on Dental Hygiene 2022 Dublin, Ireland. The Irish Dental Hygienists Association (IDHA) will host the thirteenth symposium on behalf of the International Federation of Dental Hygienists (IFDH) and welcome the return to Europe of the symposium from its last destination in Brisbane, Australia in 2019.

The ISDH since its first symposium in 1986 has become established as the world leading international conference for dental hygienists. For those of you who are already part of our ISDH family it’s going to be very exciting to welcome you back to the symposium but for many more we wish that you take this opportunity to join us in the chance to expand our knowledge, meet like-minded colleagues, share ideas, present current research and  learn new skills under the theme ‘The Future in Our Hands’ in the fantastic surroundings of the Convention Centre Dublin (CCD).

Dublin is ideally located on the east coast of Ireland with over 190 direct flight destinations. The CCD is approximately 20 minutes from Dublin airport. Situated on the River Liffey, it is a two-minute walk from the vibrant Grand Canal Dock area of the city aswell as a short walk to famous landmarks such as Trinity College. The IDHA will work with the IFDH to make this an enjoyable, interesting, and most of all fun experience for all delegates whether travelling with friends or as an individual we want you to feel reenergised, involved and most of all welcome in our company.
